Who you’re contracting with
The feder8d service is provided by GoodDevs (Pty) Ltd, a private company registered in South Africa (registration number registration pending; registered office Cape Town, South Africa) (“feder8d”, “we”, “us”).
Acceptance
By creating an account on feder8d.ai or any subdomain we operate, you (“Customer”) agree to these Terms of Service. If you accept on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.
Services
feder8d provides a multi-tenant AI platform. Plan entitlements, included quotas, overage rates,
and feature availability are listed at /pricing, which is generated from the canonical plan
catalogue in deploy/config/plans.yaml.
Self-hosted use
The source code of feder8d is licensed AGPL-3.0-or-later (see /legal/license); the corresponding source is made available to users on request. These ToS apply only to use of our hosted SaaS. Self-hosting under the AGPL-3.0 is permitted by that license (including in production); a separate commercial license is offered only for AGPL-incompatible use, and is not required to merely run the software.
Acceptable use
Customer agrees not to:
- Use the service to generate content prohibited by applicable law.
- Attempt to circumvent tenant isolation, rate limits, or model entitlement enforcement.
- Reverse-engineer the service beyond rights granted by AGPL-3.0 (corresponding source is provided to users on request).
- Use the service to compete with feder8d in providing a multi-tenant AI platform.
Customer data
Customer retains all rights in data Customer ingests into the service. feder8d processes such data only on Customer’s instructions per the DPA at /legal/dpa.
Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with at least the same care it uses for its own.
Fees
Customer pays the fees listed at /pricing for the selected plan plus any overage. Fees are billed monthly via Dodo Payments. Bespoke Dedicated Managed engagements may instead be invoiced per contract. Late payments accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5%/month or the maximum rate permitted by law.
Price changes
We provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase via email and on this page.
Term & termination
Either party may terminate for material breach uncured for 30 days after written notice. Customer may export all tenant data via the Tenant Console at any time prior to termination. We delete Customer data 30 days after termination (immediate for Special-PI collections).
SLA
Business plan: 99.5%. Dedicated plans: 99.9%. Credits are described in the Service Level Annex furnished with the contract.
Warranties & disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
Each party’s aggregate liability under these ToS is limited to fees paid by Customer in the 12 months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The cap does not apply to confidentiality breaches or indemnification obligations.
Indemnification
We indemnify Customer against third-party claims that the service infringes their IP rights. Customer indemnifies us against third-party claims arising from Customer’s content or use of the service in breach of these ToS.
Governing law
These ToS are governed by South African law, with venue in Cape Town. EU customers may, at their option, elect Irish law and Dublin venue via a written addendum.
Changes
